he makes one phone call and media has to blow it way out of proportions! he said that the Lion’s coach had called him…and it was only a 20 mintute phone call! now…i am not a NFL coach, but those play books a very complex! it would take more than a 20 minute phone call to make any kind of puch to the packers. jsut because he wants to continue playing football does not make him a bad man…he isnt ruining any legacy! if anyone ruined Favre’s legacy, it was the Packer organization.

It was only a big deal was because he’s “Brett Favre”. I’ve been a Packer fan all my life, and Favre is the one who brought credibility to the team, made it fun to watch on Sundays.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on the love for Tom Brady. Because in my opinion he has been, and will go down as a much better QB than Bret Favre. Don’t get me wrong Bret is a good QB and can be fun to watch, but what bothers people is how much attention he gets. He won 1 superbowl and the media acted like he won the damn thing every year. Boo Hoo, some people don’t like Brett!
Sorry if I don’t sympathize with bitterness. Honestly…if someone hates Brett Favre because he gets a lot of attention then that’s a person with serious issues.
I think Tom Brady is an excellent QB, and has been for a long time. He has also been the beneficiary of one of the smartest coaches, schemes and best O-Line in the league for many years. If the play of Matt Cassell isn’t proof of that you have your head in the sand.
Individually Favre is the best QB ever. Period.
